I had an unbelievably great stay with you guys, and was exceptionally happy here in Bermondsey! I never had reason to whinge or moan about anything and your service was outstanding. I will really refer anyone that’s looking for accommodation to you guys.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Homes Africa (Brink, Harry, Heidri, Rion, Milo, Louis), for the period that I was able to rent from you. As is the case with housing, there were always one or two nuisances that spilled over in unpleasantness, but quite honestly I had a really nice stay at Homes Africa. I also wanted to mention that when one takes a step back and looks at what is happening around you in London, you provide support with your standpoint in terms of the bigger picture. Mostly what happens to (especially the young people) South Africans in London is a disappointment. Mostly through their own choices, yes, but I do believe that through having a group of houses where there is a measure of norms and values, Homes Africa don’t cultivate breeding space for the things that are going on in other houses. Its exactly because of this stance of HA that a mix of outstanding people have crossed my path (I think I lived with 23 different housemates) which contributed to the fact that I had a good time in London.

Thank you so much for the accommodation of the last 9 months, and if it wasn’t for the ‘live-in’, I would definitely have stayed here for the whole year. I think few people can say that.

Tonight I want to say thank you very very much for the wonderful year that I stayed in Homes Africa’s house. It was wonderful to stay in a house where it felt like it was my house and where I could be comfortable.
I will miss all the e-mails from Heidri but I will stay in contact. Nadia and I are looking forward to our new house, but we will definitely miss you guys.
